Delivery: Digital products are delivered via email as high-resolution JPG files (300 dpi) within 3-5 business days.

Physical Products

We offer personalized physical products including mugs and hoodies featuring custom portraits. These are produced on-demand and shipped within 9-13 business days.

Product Accuracy

  • We strive to display product colors and images as accurately as possible
  • We cannot guarantee that your device's display will accurately show colors
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products
  • Prices are subject to change without notice

📸 Custom Orders and Photo Submissions

Your Responsibilities

When ordering custom portraits, you agree to:

  • Provide clear, high-quality photos suitable for illustration
  • Own the rights to the photos you submit, or have permission to use them
  • Not submit photos containing illegal, offensive, or copyrighted content
  • Provide accurate information for text personalization
  • Review and approve previews in a timely manner

Our Rights

  • Refuse any order that contains inappropriate content
  • Request alternative photos if submitted images are unsuitable
  • Make minor artistic adjustments to improve the final illustration
  • Use completed portraits (without personal information) for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise

🎨 Intellectual Property and License

Your License to Use Digital Products

When you purchase a digital portrait from us, you receive a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to:

  • Print the digital file for personal use
  • Share on personal social media accounts
  • Gift printed copies to family and friends

You May NOT:

  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the digital files
  • Claim the artwork as your own creation
  • Use the artwork for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Modify the artwork and present it as original
  • Remove watermarks or artist signatures (if present)

Our Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Boreal Studio and protected by copyright laws. The illustrations we create remain our intellectual property, though you receive a license to use them as described above.

💳 Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated
  • Payment is required at the time of order
  • We accept major credit cards and other payment methods through Shopify Payments
  • Prices do not include applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout
  • Discount codes cannot be combined unless explicitly stated

Physical Products

  • Production time: 4-6 business days
  • Shipping time: 5-7 business days (varies by location)
  • Shipping costs calculated at checkout

💰 Refunds and Returns

Digital Products: Non-refundable after final delivery. We offer unlimited revisions before final delivery to ensure satisfaction.

Physical Products: 30-day return policy for defective or incorrect items.

✅ Revisions and Approval

  • We provide a preview of your custom portrait for approval before final delivery
  • You have 7 days to request revisions after receiving the preview
  • We offer unlimited revisions to ensure your satisfaction
  • Once you approve the final version, no further changes can be made
  • If you don't respond within 14 days of receiving the preview, we consider it approved

⚠️ Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Boreal Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
  • We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free
